Lake District is known as one of the most beautiful areas of UK. In Lake District you are promised to wander in picturesque small villages, eat amazing quality food, be in contact with the nature and see awing landscapes and if you are up for that, the opportunity to do some water sports including kayak in one of the many and amazing lakes around.
If you love travelling but you are also concern with the actual pandemic (as you should be) Lake District is the perfect choice. Actually, even if COVID-19 was not an issue, Lake District is a perfect choice. Nature lovers, food lovers and travel lovers, Lake District is the perfect destination for you.
The perfect way to travel around the villages and nature landscapes is by car. You can either rent or if you live in UK you can bring your own. This way you don’t have to worry about schedules and delays, you will be free to choose your own timings. I have been around the Lake District starting by Coniston and Windermere areas, moving up north through the West side of the region and finished on the East side. All the areas have important points to visit, all of them showing you what the nature has the best to offer.
One week might be enough to see the main points, however if you want to do a lot of hiking you maybe need a couple more days. Sheep, waterfalls and mountains – you will have that and more if you come to Lake District. That is a promise!
