UK – Bath

During the pandemic we decided to not travel abroad and to let this awful pandemic bringing something positive. In our case, it meant visiting more cities of UK, as we haven’t seen a lot of UK since we moved in 2015. For our December trip we decided to visit Bath. The reviews of Bath are often positive especially due to the Georgian architecture, the Roman baths associated to the natural hot spring waters. You don’t want to miss all of this as we didn’t either. I will say one weekend, or a long weekend is more than enough to visit the main attractions of the city.

Because of Covid-19 we chose to be more outdoors than indoors and for that reason we didn’t visit any museums or buildings other than the Roman baths and the spa. However, I think what we saw, where we went and what we experienced was enough for us to come back home happy and with a sense of a really well spent weekend. As usual, I will go through with you the places to visit, places to eat and drink, the accommodation we chose and more tips and ideas.

Because we came during December Bath had a special Christmassy vibe (as any other city during this time of the year). I always love to walk around through the streets full of sparkling lights and pretty decorations.
